Céneca is a contemporary law firm with a vision: bring clarity to complex legal issues through accessible insights. The project aimed to build a sleek, modern website — one that balanced professional credibility with an editorial feel. The site needed to be content-forward, clean, and easily manageable by the firm's in-house team.

Céneca's team wanted to publish regular legal analysis and updates — but their old site wasn't flexible enough. They needed a system that would make publishing painless, navigation intuitive, and presentation modern and elegant. The biggest challenge was combining content-heavy functionality with a minimal, readable UI in a dark mode design system.

The design went dark mode by default — paired with serif display fonts, generous spacing, and subtle parallax animations to give the brand a refined edge. The UI puts articles front and center, with curated sections, reading time, and author highlights.

Navigation was stripped to the essentials, ensuring users could explore content without distraction. Every design decision was made to serve the content — making complex legal analysis feel approachable and engaging rather than intimidating.

The final product gave Céneca a sharp, future-facing presence — positioning them as thought leaders and legal communicators. The dark mode design system, combined with editorial-quality content presentation, elevated the firm's brand perception significantly.

Internally, the CMS made it easy for staff to update content regularly, helping them keep clients informed and engaged. The launch marked a strong step forward in both brand perception and publishing capability — giving the firm a platform that matches the quality of their legal expertise.
